What We Have Built With Our Clients.
Real businesses. Real problems. Measurable results. The clients who agreed to be named are named. Others are shown by sector.
Steven has been in hospitality since 1998 and built his own business from 2010 — close to 27 years in the industry. The hotels were running, but every hire went through him, and the way people worked came and went with them. When staff left, the process left with them. He had tried to set up HR before. It never held.
- Hard to find and keep the right people
- The existing HR function was not working
- No proper systems or processes — they lived in people's heads
- The founder was involved in every staffing decision
- Processes walked out of the door when people left
- Structured a real HR function with documented processes
- Recruited a strong HR head
- Built onboarding that outlasts any one person
- Recommended and implemented a salary review
- Helped set up an Advisory Board for governance
- Departments began to function on their own
- Steven could step back, travel and rest — reviewing messages instead of managing every detail
- He can walk into a branch without knowing every employee, and it still runs
- Staff turnover dropped; customers stayed longer
- Full salary was paid before Christmas
"I walk into branches and I don't know the people — and I go and sit down." Steven Omali — Managing Director, Class Suites
Mozuk Health runs four arms — a hospital, medical diagnostics, water/food/environmental health analysis, and medical devices and health technology. Godwin had all the parts. He described it like a car: the parts were there, but the engine would not run properly because they were not connected. The business also had no strong way to measure whether it was performing.
- Four arms, with no structure tying them together
- The business model needed to match what the market was actually saying
- No strong systems to measure performance
- Management made every routine decision by feeling, not policy
- Restructured the group with clear reporting lines
- Introduced performance management and metrics
- Set stronger revenue targets
- Put in weekly checks and monthly reviews
- Became an ongoing external accountability partner
- Fewer problems reach management — staff refer to policy instead of calling the managing partner
- Performance is now measured weekly and reviewed monthly
- External accountability freed Godwin's mind to focus on business development
- Less complacency; the team is more active in marketing
"At no point in the history of any business should you feel you can do it alone. When you start thinking you have it all sorted — just know you have started nose-diving." Godwin Emanuel — Managing Partner, Mozuk Health

Different Businesses. Different Problems.
But the work usually comes back to the same things.
That is the work of building the company behind the business.
Your Business Has Grown. Now Build the Company Behind It.
If your business has grown beyond the systems that currently support it, let's talk.
